Cinnamon's at its BEST!

Breakfast is really not my thing but because I was invited by my favorite couple, Jay & Kellie,  I couldn't say no.  To decline their invite is just plain stupidity because spending time with them is like being in a vacation.  So I tenaciously battled all of the elements such as waking up at 6:30 am on a Saturday and after driving 25 miles, I stumble upon a small and cozy restaurant tucked in a small shopping center in Kailua, Oahu.

We ordered Benedict Omelette, Corn Beef Hash Omelette, skillet breakfast, red velvet pancakes and guava chiffon ala mode pancake.

Breakfast at Cinnamon's is always amazing especially when accompanied by amazing people.  Luckily, we beat the crowd because as we were leaving, the line was wrapped around the building.  Cinnamon's is definitely YUMMY in my TUMMY.

Birthday!

Celebrating my birthday was never important.  I'm usually content with a simple and small dinner or lunch with family and friends.  But for some reason, I had the urge to celebrate my birthday this year.

A week after my birthday, me and my friends (Ashley & Pume)  decided to head to North Shore to celebrate my birthday.  The day started with stand up paddle boarding at Haleiwa.  We all had our own paddle boards and we cruised, or should I say paddled around Haleiwa Beach Harbor and Haleiwa River.  After a successful one hour of paddle boarding, we all decided that it was time for lunch.  Pume and I had garlic kahuku shrimp while Ashley had pad thai with a side of "going green lecture" from the cook.

Stuffed and satisfied, we jumped in our car and drove to Mokuleia Polo field.   Upon arrival at the ranch, we traded our beach gears to jeans and plaid shirts.  Now dress the part, we were all ready and excited to enjoy an afternoon of private horseback ride tour.  Nothing is more relaxing than riding a horse and just stroll at the beach.  Who would have thought that riding Angelo (my horse) is so much fun.

After horseback riding, we all decided to drive back to North Shore and head to Waimea Bay for a sunset swim and volleyball.  New abilities were discovered during our sunset swim.  After 28 years of existence, I discovered that I could do front and back flip in the water.  This abilities were discovered  by being inspired by Germans.

To cap the night of, we headed back to Haleiwa for dinner.  Destination Cholo's where we devoured great Mexican food and Li hing mui margarita.  Happy and tired, it was time for us to call it a day/night.  Thanks to Pume and Ashley, this birthday will never be forgotten.
